Thanks COG!
« on: September 18, 2014, 12:23:02 am »
With the excellent suggestions and parts sourcing I got on COG, along with the kindness of SteveJ. that 94 Connie I found in a field is back on her wheels again.

Thanks all for the help.  I'll take her in for a safety and then it's time to retire the Ninja and move up to my first adult bike  :great:

UH OH!!   LOOK--LOOK is that a piece of dirt??  See, right between the left mirror mount and the shiny cowling. Could it be a piece of DIRT or a really big NASTY bug.   >:(                                    :) :)

You're welcome. Purty bike, now go get it dirty.  :motonoises:

BTW, I followed your link. You gave me way too much credit, I'm not a moderator. I would be but I'm already in a really high tax bracket.  ;)

It's a love story, that starts in a field...

... and ends all shiny:

I'm sure Nicolas Sparks is putting together a novel on it, in the meantime you can find the nitty gritty from http://tkmotorcyclediaries.blogspot.ca/2014/08/dreams-and-realities.html and scattered through to the latest here: http://tkmotorcyclediaries.blogspot.ca/2014/10/concours-oil-cooler-leak.html

Winter is coming for us Starks up here in the north, but Connie is going to spend the winter getting the fairings redone and should be ready to run come the big melt.
