I joined in January and it was the best $37 I spent in 2018 and plan on renewing in 2019.
To all that make COG what it is, from the leadership to those that share their abundance of knowledge of the c10,  I say, " thank you "   ;D  :great:

I get ya Rich, but really there's so much info amassed by COG, for all the other things he can save money on too, that I think the BEST advise I can give is to send folks to join COG.  Of course I could give a man a fish, but I think he's better off to learn to fish...  ;) Steve

Give a man a fiish, you feed him for a day.

Teach a man to fish and the next thing you know he's out in a boat with his buddies drinking and cussing.  :beerchug:

BOAT = Break Out Another Thousand.  The Z1 and my C14 is my boat. They don't fish very well though but get better smiles per gallon.

Steve I think you did good. Buying a aftermarket thermostat then paying dues he would still be $ ahead compared to buying a OEM thermostat.  :)

I've been watching this and keeping quiet.
It was fun, but ya'll are having way to much fun with Steve's statement.
   He's offering good advise.

All of us freely share info with the Forum Subscribers.
Their very welcome to be here with us.

To them; realize that the info you receive on this Forum, will save you a lot more than the $37 it cost's to join COG.
{So, you can sorta consider the $37 as another gift from us}.
Use it to become a COGger and get more than "just information".
Be part of the COG Family, and "Come ride with us"!!

There is just as much if not more valuable information about MG's on the MG Experience web site but somebody doesn't hit you up for $37 every time you ask a question.  >:(

Everyone chill.
I was attempting to get the discussion back on track..
Opinions were shared and everyone is entitled to have their own opinion.

ie; Steve shared his opinion, and offered good advise.
After that {somehow} the discussion had moved to "fish"{??}.
I was the recipient of some of the fish stories, and thought/preferred that we get the discussion back on track.
To accomplish that , I noted that I agreed with Steve, and offered an "invitation" for others to join COG and get more than just information.

Getting back to my posting; "More than just Information":
In addition to access to certain COG Files, a COG Member will receive a yearly Membership handbook.
That handbook is a list of COG Members from all over the world.
In that handbook, most of "us" offer help to other COG Members if they break down and/or need assistance.
That alone is worth $37 to me...

But, "of course" that is just "my" opinion.  {See above}   :)

Ride safe, Ted

COG fee........... was the best money I have spent in long time! Wish the search engine was better, but that an observation, not a compliant!

One of the best things is, I get answers to questions I did not know to ask. As they say PRICELESS!

The simple answer to the Forum search is don't use it.   Use this simple search string using Google to find just about anything on the COG Forum.  The more specific you are with the text after the brackets, the better your results.

Here is what I typed into Google to find the answer to how the temperature blocks work for instance.....

oh man, the guilt,, guess I'll need to shell out some cash when TAXES GET THERE! :), The help I've gotten here is priceless.  Learning about my first Kawasaki ever has actually become a joyous pastime.  And I suspect Crysis (my c10) will be around for a long time because of COG influence.
