Are Zzr1200 generators still the hot set-up for electrical upgrades? Just saw one on Ebay

Unless you really need more that 350-375 watts of sustained power while cruising down the road, at 5 bones I would not bother.

I think back in the early days of this mod $175 - $225 was common, maybe $250 tops. I think I only paid $175 for mine, but I did not get a wiring harness piece and had to make my own.

There has been a price reduction. I was watching this Ebay auction  and this generator is  relisted at $349 OBO. I'm not sure if I want to do this mod  myself , but it's tempting . I think $275 would buy the generator.
