« on: January 28, 2009, 05:16:00 pm »
I too have dropped my C-14 twice. First time coming around my carport to slow, went over on left side. Just didn't put my foot down.Duh Duh  The second time put the foot stand on small hill went to step off, Went over on the right side. No damage, now I know that I can lift 700lbs from either side.   Always watch for Unlevel ground.  Sammie Timmons  74 gt380 totaled  74 gt750 totaled  80 gs850 totaled  05 vulcan 750 traded  08 c14 my baby  08 versys (my wife's)

Sammie, CDA0291.  Thanks for posting your experience.  That's one thing I would love to practice - getting the bike up by myself.  I've had 2 CDAs myself and both required assistance.    Greg H from Mass, Connie Droppers Anonymous Awards Dude  COG# 7010,a Tracey  CDA 120  99 Connie "Herrin Christabelle", 05 Ninja 250

OUCH! You and  - especially - the C14 is no longer a virgin!    When I slo-mo dropped my Feejer (it just took me down rather than the other way around)it was not a good feeling. I will never look at the bike in quite the same way. ;)  Bob "Flylooper" Burns  COG #5887  E Clampus Vitus, YB#1  '04 FJR 1300
