2007 Mother Road Rally - Route 66 in New Mexico, where old Rt. 66 runs underneath I-40.  Watch out for the mud! :gasp:  http://cantele.org/Motorcycles/2007Route66Tour/images/100_0140.JPG  Nothing broke, thank goodness. :)   There are 10 kinds of people in this world; those that understand binary and those that don't.          Regards,  Pete Cantele  Joliet, IL  '99 Concours - Purple Kaw

Pete,  CDA0272.  That picture says it all!  You must have gotten quite muddy just getting her back up.  Glad nothing broke including you.    Greg  COG # 7010/7010a (Tracey)  CDA 0120  Connie Droppers Anonymous Awards Dude (CDAAD)  99 Connie "Herrin Christabelle".  05 Ninja 250

Yep Connie and mud.  Always a bad choice if you have one.  I got so much mud, rocks and hay stuck in my from fender once it would have ended my trip right there if not for a kindly passer by and his home around the corner.  That stuff was packkkkkkked in there.    <p align="left">My Photos

Nothing is slicker or stickyer than adobie.  How it can be both at the same time I don't know.  Been hunting down there and had to drive 4 wheel drive rigs at 35+mph to keep mud from building up on front wheels and actually locking up the steering.
Well...even if you fall on your face you're still moving forward.

Yea, that stuff is like rocks when it hardens!  I'm going again this year, check it out:  Mother Road Rally, http://www.hhjm.com/rally/  Great ride, great bunch of people.  I'll be more careful this time.    There are 10 kinds of people in this world; those that understand binary and those that don't.          Regards,  Pete Cantele  Joliet, IL  '99 Concours - Purple Kaw
