First ever drop
« on: September 23, 2013, 03:27:00 am »
I have the dishonor of reporting I dropped my Connie, first time I have ever dropped a bike. I was doing a slow counter weight turn and leaned a little too far and when I put my foot down to catch myself I torn my hamstring so my leg buckled and bike fell. No real damage done except to my ego and not being able to ride for a couple weeks while leg heals.

Tearing a hamstring can be pretty bad; sorry it turned out that way.  And your incident does qualify you for the CDA Award except for one thing.

You need to be a full COG member.  Don't worry, we don't make you drop her again after you've joined in order to qualify!  Most folks join if they hang around a while and like what we do here, so just drop me a line after that happens and we'll add you to the roster.

Just to avoid confusion, here are the instructions: How to Convert from Forum Subscriber to Full COG Membership
