I Thought Wrong ...
« on: September 25, 2013, 08:42:58 am »
Well, IT happened a few weeks ago;

I was circling around to face out of a parking space. At full steering lock, I grabbed just  a liiiitle too much front brake, and she headed for the ground with a WILL (Hey! Who turned up the gravity?). I managed to hop off and decelerate things a bit, and the sole witness thankfully remained mute on the subject. After a quick inspection, I seemed to have gotten away unscathed. So I thought "I did'n break nuthin', I ain't sayin' nuthin'..."

I Thought Wrong

While installing my new back tire, I noticed two of the four foot peg mounts were broken. So I guess for $82.50, I'll have to join the ranks.    Oh, the shame...

Wow I just hate it when they turn the gravity up like that!  I've noticed that, the further over I'm leaning, the further up it's turned.  Glad to hear you weren't hurt and that Connie suffered only minor damage.  And so it has now become my sad duty to confirm you as the 473rd recipient of the uncoveted Connie Droppers Anonymous Award.  You have yet another tale to share around a Rally campfire.  My sincerest condolences!
