Slow Turn @ the Pump
« on: August 19, 2013, 01:22:41 pm »
Took me 5 years, before my Connie got horizontal, but it finally happened.

Pulling into the fuel station, almost at a stop and turning.
Those in-ground fuel tank cover's that are slightly raised threw off my balance, and I simply couldn't keep gravity from winning this time.

You would have to look hard to see a couple scrapes, the bike wasn't moving.
Just posting this hurts worse than the actual event.!.

Well you lasted about five years longer than I did,  Those gas station surfaces are treacherous on all sorts of levels.  Glad to hear that neither you nor Connie was hurt; it doesn't always work out that way.

And so it has now become my sad duty to confirm you as the 462nd recipient of the uncoveted Connie Droppers Anonymous Award.  You have yet another tale to share around a Rally campfire.  My sincerest condolences!

Glad your bike received little damage. Just tiny reminders of its little nap.
