C10 Newbie from Central New York (Oneida Lake Region)
« on: March 15, 2014, 03:43:00 pm »
I picked up my first "Connie" a few weeks ago. It's a 1990 with 35K. It was completely gone through 2 seasons ago and is in very good shape. Unfortunately it was tipped over in PO's care. Damage was done to one mirror, one foot peg, and one small crack in fairing below mirror. I picked it up for $1100 and trailered it home in one of the worst white outs I've ever been in. I was given everything for this bike; owner's manual, original tool kit, fairing covers for the suitcases, and a battery tender. This isn't my first bike having had a few rockets and a couple of cruisers, but it is the biggest cc wise.  I wanted something comfortable and fun to take through the Adriondacks.

Bikes are not my first passion, however. I am a proud Jeep owner and a very active member of cnyjeeps. I have a built Grand Cherokee and I wheel it often. I see my summer being very busy and very fun this year.
