Eastern Canada land of ice and snow
« on: November 09, 2013, 03:26:52 am »
No snow on the ground yet but Ive got a KLR for that.
Im not into a Concours yet but I am looking very hard at a specific one (1996 for $2000)
Ill probably pull the trigger on this one within the next few days.
Ill be lurking around looking for info on what I should look for and common issues or problems.
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Forum, there is a lot of information here, especially for members. The C10 is extremely reliable and if cared for will last for years. I have read that they have accumulate over 200,000 miles. I don't think you will be disappointed if you bite the bullet. If you do, you won't be disappointed in joining COG it is well worth the minimal cost.  :)

New Brunswick Canada on the shores of the mighty Bay of Fundy.

Hey Altitude,

I just picked up a 2003 Concours, just sold my 1986 last week.  I'm in the Halifax area but I grew up in New Brunswick.

They're fun bikes!   :)

Ha! Ha! Cap'n Bob!

I wasn't planning on buying another C10 but my buddy was selling his pristine 2003 and I just couldn't pass it up.  In another few years, I'll probably upgrade to a C14.

Hiya Claude,

I'm in the Halifax area as well, and as always, it's a small small world...lol. I have two different guys in my Facebook friends....one of them just sold a C10, and another just bought a C10 in the past week...lol.
