Hello from Minnesota
« on: April 05, 2017, 05:23:27 am »
I am 24yo and own a 2012 Honda CBR250R that is track prepped and NOW I also have a 2002 ZG1000! I'm very excited to own this bike. I was given this bike by my great uncle. It has 64k miles on it and I plan to raise that number by a large amount. Look forward to talking to everyone!

Welcome aboard!  It sounds like your Connie has a great heritage and a new owner who will do her justice moving forward.  And you've found a fountain of useful info to maintain your new ride.  Enjoy!

Welcome from northern MN!!
Sounds like you have a great guy for an uncle.
Get some overflow tubes in the carb bowls if he hasn't already had them installed.
Snowmobiles, I have a bunch.
Motorcycles-I haven't had anything except dirtbikes 30 years ago, so this will be all new to me.

Well neighbor... Welcome to the family!  My son (29) rides w/ us, and other son's show up as well.

In case you didn't know, our next ride is May 6 ... Meet at Stillwater Perkins. Then the National Rally is June 12 !

Look forward to seeing you soon!  ;)

Welcome Zach!!!
That uncle has given you a really great bike. It's kind of a great sleeper - looks tame, and can behave very well, but when you rile her up, she growls and can really put a smile on your face.
At 64K miles, she's just breaking in. Several bikes running around with over 200,000 miles, and many with over 100,000.
Gumby's right... put up som pics, we'd love to see her. I know, we've seen plenty of C10s, but hey, the more the merrier  :)
