Hello from South Central
« on: February 11, 2017, 03:25:40 pm »
Hello all. I picked up a Nocturne Blue '13 C-14 last week and have been lurking and learning. So while the coolant and oil drain in the garage, I thought I'd say hi and congratulate you on a great community you have going here. I'm impressed!

Welcome to COG, the South Central Area, and the great community here. Congratulations on your C14 acquisition and I look forward to meeting you on the road or at one of our rides:

Currently there are the Wildflower Ride near Kerrville, and the Horseshoe Mountain Ride in Central AR scheduled in the spring. I expect the schedule to become filled up with day rides across the region as the spring gets closer.

If you have questions, just post.

Thanks for joining COG!!! The National this year is in MO, and that's only a day ride away for most in the SC. The totally immersive COG experience is at the Nationals!

Ride free,

Craig

welcome and thanks for joining so quickly.  the BEST part of COG is meeting the people at events, so please make an effort to get to a RTE or rally sometime soon.  we can be a somewhat cliquish type of group, only because we all know each other well, and often these gatherings are the only chance we have to catch up.  so don't be afraid to introduce yourself and elbow into the conversations!   :great:

Sport Rider is right.  You really need to make some rides and meet ups if possible.  You could make the Wildflower Ride at Hunt Texas the end of March.   :)

I'll cover yer Margaritas.   :great:

Took the advice and heading to the Horseshoe Mountain Rendezvous (thanx for the info Cliff!). Can't get away from work in March, but Texas hill country is on my list of destinations.

I'm in NE Louisiana so I see a lot of Sport-Commuting in my future.
