Hello
« on: March 03, 2011, 10:46:21 pm »
Hey guys, I am new to this forum, however I have been posting on http://forum.concours.org/.

I wanted to pop my head in here and tell you who I am and what I am doing. My name is Andy and I work for a company call BITwave, based in Idaho, and we are launching the brand UCLEAR. Our first product the HBC100 Helmet Bluetooth Communicator. I keep this short as this is simply an introduction.

I have posted more information about what we've got going on in the Industry Member section.

Andy, do you guys have a real product to sell yet?  I see what looks like photoshop ads on your site, but no mention of costs or where to buy.

Enquiring minds what to know!

locksmith,  I followed the links and found a price in one of the links.  $199 per
No mention of the range of bike to bike though.
10 hour talk time.
I do like the Sena unit I bought a mounth ago.  $249 for 2.  I,ve used it quite a bit while plowing  snow with my quad.
Well...even if you fall on your face you're still moving forward.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the warm welcome, I would love to join you guys in North Idaho this May but seeing on how I'm getting married a 2 weeks after the Bun Cooler, I don't think I'll be able to swing it. But thanks for the invite!

As for our product, I posted in the industry section but it appears my post was remove. Not sure why that is. Maybe someone can enlighten me.
Anyway, I was simply going to introduce myself and not really talk much about our products, but since you guys asked, here we go.

Our website is
http://www.uclear-digital.com
We have some pretty astounding technology built into our headsets, you can read up all about it on our technology page.

You can buy our products from a couple on-line retailers right now.
http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/uclear-hbc-100-bluetooth-communicator, there's a nice video link with this
and
http://www.helmetbluetooth.com/

We are working with Western Power Sports to get our product on shelves in a store near you.

The rider-to-rider intercom feature is 10 meters, however we will soon be launching the WT300 walkie talkie adapter which extends the range to that of your walkie talkie and allow for many, many users.

I have been posting on the concour forums, here's a link to that discussion.
http://forum.concours.org/index.php?topic=83138.0

And if you really like us, you can check out our newly created Facebook page.
http://www.facebook.com/pages/UClear/196177683740467 (we really could use some more "likes"  ;) )

Keep the questions rolling.

Thanks
Andy

Andy,

Probably because that section is for our paid Industry Members  ;)
You are welcome to become one, contact our Industry Liaison: (industry-liaison at cog-online dot org)
Here's a .pdf of the Industry Membership program:
http://www.cog-online.org/clubportal/clubdocs/1328/Industry%20Membership%20Rates.pdf
Otherwise, you can post in the Emporium section, where things are bought and sold.

Welcome to the site...
<--- is there any mechanism in place to deal with a non- productive, antagonistic, former non- member such as this?

Actually, it was something I did!

Didn't mean to put you off.  That section hasn't seen much action and I was looking for clarification as to what was supposed to be posted in that section.  Tell you what.  I'll move it to the Emporium now that the mods have had a chance to chat about it.
