My Name Is Kris, And I'm A Connieholic!
« on: August 13, 2017, 06:15:04 pm »
Hey! My name is Kris. I'm 43 and I live in Tooele County, UT. Lots of fun rides out here! I picked up a 2012 C14 in Candy Arabian Red this last May. I would sleep next to it if my wife didn't exist! Sometimes I go in the garage and just stare at it for ten minutes like a lunatic! I really wish I could be part of the rally in Provo, UT that's coming up but, I'm getting carpal tunnel surgery the week before, dang it! I've already found/used SO much useful info in these forums and I want to thank all who contribute! Happy to be here!

Welcome in Kris. There is a special spray sold to help wipe the drool off of new connies  :)) I don't think there is anyone here that has not done the same :). Drive down in the cage if you can. You won't be disappointed or shunned  :beerchug:. May be ribbed a little though. Just have seen a post for a UT Ride to Eat. Maybe meet up there. Great folks in the UT area!

Hi Kris. Welcome! Hey, if it's your left wrist going under the knife, do like I did last year and tell your orthopedist that operating the clutch is part of an accelerated rehab plan. Yeah, mine didn't buy it, either. He frowned, too. Seriously though, give yourself several weeks for recovery. I tried too much too soon and my wrist swelled up on me. I had cubital tunnel surgery on the same arm the same day. That was a much quicker recovery.

Welcome Kris.  I pity you having the surgery and not being able to ride.  I suggest you keep a drool bucket in the garage!
