Thanks for the invite Ted, but I think I'll skip the straight roads and crazy cagers in Houston!  Ride up to east TN when you get a chance though...it will be good for your soul...

Your love for our region warms my heart. I am in NYC at the moment and let me tell you .... we do live in an amazing, CLEAN and affordable place. I likely couldn't afford a garage or a bike anywhere else either.

Riding for 100 miles between stop lights and intersections with hardly a straight section anywhere and gorgeous pull offs everywhere - nope, hasn't gotten old yet. If it were more expensive to live in the Smokies we would just be bragging but it's not! So, we are just sharing.

Have you checked out the Southeast calendar? Join us at the BullFrog or Holenwald Rallies the next 2 weekends. I'm attending both. Bring a can of brake fluid to Bullfrog if you want to bleed them after the brake bleeding tech session. For all I know you are a mechanic but in case you're not.

Hey Fais,
I'm not going to make it to Bullfrog and thinking hard about Hohenwald (grew up about 30 mintes from there).  I'm in culinary school right now, so a little hard to get away, but still thinking about it.  By the way, enjoyed your Ode to NYC thread, couldn't agree more...  Stay safe up there...

Thanks Steve,

Love living and riding in east TN, but hoping to make a ride to far northeast this summer...never been to Maine, Vermont, etc...we'll see, wasn't able to make Hohenwald and that was only 5 hours away..culinary school getting in the way of my riding!

You as being a paid member are responsible for that book.  Your dues and the work of volunteers and the willingness of others to be paying members make it happen.
