New Connie owner in Vermont
« on: June 11, 2012, 05:33:43 pm »
I have been riding for 45 years (since I was 7 yo) and have owned a BMW GSA, a few KLR's, a Versys and dirt bikes too numerous to list. I just picked up a new to me 2004 Connie with 19k miles. The previous owner kept the bike in impeccable condition. I love the engine, and honestly the styling... it looks functional. The appeal was an affordable 2 up sport tourer, at $3250 it was definitely priced right. After my first few rides there isn't much I'll change, it has a Corbin, I am thinking of a top box and maybe riser bars. The suspension is somewhat primitive, but I'll ride it awhile and see how it works for me. I wont push it hard, and weigh in at 175 pounds. Here is a pic:

I am looking to learning more from the forum. Thanks for the info so far!

Regards,
Wardo
