New owner in Atlanta
« on: February 25, 2018, 09:53:06 pm »
Hi all, just acquired a new to me 08 abs, atomic silver, bone stock with only 2000 miles. After new rubber and fluids back to front she’s running like a champ. Had a basic suspension set up done which made a world of difference.
Coming from a sport bike and street fighter background for the last 30 years I am blown away by its versatility and how comfortable, not to mention rapid and (fairly) agile for a big bike this thing is. Managed to put about 1500 miles on it in about a month, a frigid trip to the dragons tail and a couple of north ga mountain excursions included. Many more miles and smiles from inside my new neotec 2 to follow.
I’m sure in the coming months I’ll be searching this site for answers which will have no doubt been answered by the knowledgeable folk on this great forum.
Cheers, Mat.

Welcome sir!!!! I'm Ron Simmons, your SE AD. I'm up in the Hall county area. We definitely need more Atlanta area folks to help keep things interesting. Check out the SE Events calendar, lots of stuff coming up this spring/summer/fall culminating in the Run With The Wolf Rally in Suches at Two Wheels.

Hope to see you around soon.

We stopped in the fall when I was working on Thursday nights, then the weather got bad, wah, wah, wah... but we really ought to reconvene that. Let's start in May! Long days, good 'Q, great conversation. I'll contact Mike. Can you bring one or two (or three or  four)?  :motonoises:

Sounds good. I talked to Mike today, too and Strum in Blairsville. We need to get it back on the calendar and start a new 3rd Thursday thread so we're not hijacking Matty's (sorry dude).

Hey Matty,

I just moved to Atlanta and got my first Concours. I'm in Old Fourth Ward. Where are you at? Let me know if you'd like to meet up for a ride.

...and there's Bill, Mike, and Ram up toward Acworth and Tom over in Rome. I'm in Gainesville and who  knows who else is lurking around the Big A.  I'm going to the National Rally but you all get with it and ride!   We need a get together in late June!

Atlanta lives!
