New to a C14 in Maryland
« on: April 06, 2018, 11:59:39 pm »
Took delivery of my 2012 Concours in Candy Arabian Red last Saturday. It came with the big case on top and a Corbin 2 piece heated seat. The seat is great but slick, I've gotta figure that out. The bike is in pretty good condition with just under 3,000 miles on it. Already got the AST pullbacks installed.
I am coming from a VFR800 and WOW, what a difference. I too was concerned about the size and weight, but it just works so well. I haven't stopped smiling for a week.

Congrats on the new-to-you-ride Hosspower. I hear you on the smiling. I've had a lot of different bikes, but this one (my '13) is over the top!

Welcome. Looks like a great find, and you will love it!  You missed the “canceled” ride that started at Union Bridge MD this morning at 9 AM. Despite being cancelled we still had 14 hard core Coggers show up in 25 degree temps. Look on the calendar for the Forget Your Taxes Ride Saturday the 14th that finishes in Maryland.
Silver 2011 C-14. Previous rides: KZ-400, KZ-750, KZ-1000.  Keep the rubber side down.  Ride Fast......Live Slow......

Crap, I guess I better start paying attention. I went through Union Bridge about 10am on my way back home. I never saw another bike while I was out this morning. I took 550 up to 77 then came down 75. I live out in Woodbine.
