Glad to be amongst this group of connie owners. I have been riding since age 12 (Honda XL100), obtained an Alabama motorcycle license at age 14 and bought a Honda CB 350 (4 cylinder) and rode that bike all over the state. Purchased a Honda CB 750, then a Honda Shadow, then a 1983 naked Goldwing. I started looking for a sport tourer and after doing weeks of research, I started looking for a Connie. I found a 2004 on Craigslist about an hour and a half away. After several phone calls, I emailed a pix of my Goldwing to the Connie owner and he said if it looked as good in person as it looked on the computer we might be able to work out a trade. I trailered it to his house and within 30 minutes we made the trade.   All I can say is this is one fine motorcycle. Everything I wanted in a bike. I took it to Lakeland Fl.for the Sun N Fun fly-in, 2 days after I got it and have enjoyed every mile on it. It has the comfort, power and style I like. I commute daily on her and enjoy my ride to work each day. Great Bike,  Robo

Welcome to the group.  You should try and take a trip to the COG Nationals in Fontana Village, June 8-12.  Meet a large selection of the motley crew.    Robert Elliott  Cornelia, GA  2006 C10  COG # 7598  CDA#0293

Welcome aboard!    Nice to see another rider in the Piedmont. :) I love mine too, she's comfortable and strong, a confident ride once you get used to the buffeting from the fairing. Small price to pay for the weather protection that she gives though. There's been a handful of new recruits in our area, we're definitely going to have to set up a regular ride!

Welcome Rob,    There is one thing this club always needs more of and that is Robs and Bobs.  I think we have 4 now in the directorship alone.  Welcome and enjoy.  ----------------------------------  South Central Area Director  Email scad@cog-online.org    <p align="left">My Photos<br

Not sure if I can make the COG get together (3 businesses we own need my time right now) but if I am able to make it just for a day I will be there. As for getting together that sounds great. Sunday's usually will work for me if I can clear my schedule.  http://picasaweb.google.com/RKamsch/MyKidS#5337922953999434802
