Hi everyone, I am soon to be the proud owner of a "brand new" '96 Concours! I picked it up recently from a BMW dealership. I'm migrating to COG from BUSA as I'm trading in my Suzuki Burgman for some thing more tourable, and can't wait for the spring! Looking forward to a long and happy life with my Connie and am finding lots of good info here at COG. :)  '96 C10

welcome to the forum...      --  Steve Smith, COG #3184  COG Northeast Area Director, AMA, MSF RC  (somewhere in south central CT)     If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

Welcome,      You can alway ride south. :)  It happens to be a COLD 59 degrees here right now and in the day it is always good riding.   But in the mean time get to know your new steed.  Ride safe.     Yuma,  Summer in Yuma is not hell, but hell is a local call :-)  2006 Connie http://community.webshots.com/user/Lateck?vhost=community

Welcome to the forum Steve.  Did you really find a NEW one?  That would be cool if it was stored correctly.  ----------------------------------  I will answer any question.  It is up to you to figure out if I should have.    <p align="left">My Photos<br

Welcome aboard! You're going to like your Connie, but practice slow speed in a parking lot until you're comfortable with her higher center of gravity. It's not bad, just different and you'll want to be used to her. You're also going to have a power increase, so pick up some 'get out of jail free' cards. Also, think about joining COG and venturing to the great state of North Carolina for the Shiftin' and Grinnin' National Rally coming up next July. :)    If you're willin' you could post some pics of your new ride too. We'd love to see'em. :)

OK, maybe I exaggerated a little, it's "brand new" to me..but it is in very good shape. Last owner just put new brakes and rotors front and back, and a new differential, the engine looks sparkly clean too. I'll post some pics when I pick it up...(if I figure out how to). Thanks for the warm welcome!  '96 C10
