Not Really New
« on: May 25, 2018, 02:20:18 pm »
So been a LONG time since I had a Connie, had one back in 2003, loved it but could not get it set up right.. Went in another direction and road up until 2011 on various Bikes, Harley, ZZR1200, etc..

Neighbour is used bike dealer and a 2009 came to him, going to look at it today, price is right ($4500) with 16k on it, looks beautiful from the pics.

searched and I am aware of the heat and Kipass problems to look for. The bike is stunning and hopefully my best friend (wife) is down with it as we loved touring around together, since the kids are out of the house it makes it so much easier..

Thanks

Rick

Great!!!!!! There are some heat mitigation strategies for the 2009 as I had the 2008 and know all too well.

No linked brakes!  Be sure you get two FOBS!!!!

I invite you to join in on some riding here in the South Central and if you have any COG questions, just post or PM me.

Ride free,

Thanks Craig, I will be asking a lot of questions soon..

The one I am looking at has a Power Commander V installed so already downloaded SW to look at it.

Not sure if I am South Central or South East.. I am in TN (middle) closer to Alabama then I am Nashville
Thanks

Rick

OK, that is the SE area and there are lots of great folks there. You are in range of some really great events held in N GA, TN, and W NC.

Your area is now set to the SE!
