Owner 2008 Connie- New to group
« on: January 16, 2017, 09:01:08 pm »
Hi, Everyone!
Bought my Concours as a retirement present to myself and have had some awesome rides through Crater Lake and the North Umpqua hwy.  It is the best MC I have ever had the pleasure to ride but I am going to be 68 this year and I am having health issues.  It breaks my heart to let it go but it needs someone to ride it and take care of it.
I have come to this message board and group because I am looking for a good home for it.  I realize this isn't the place to sell stuff but I just wanted to see what opinions people might have as far as selling.  I wish I could have bought a bike like that when I was 30, I would have worn it out.
Thanks, Bob

Go to the Emporium section of our forum and list your bike plus pics. Never know people are always looking on here.

Thanks,
Will do.   I am just having a hard time letting my motorcycling days go.  Selling my bike would be the end of riding since I was 14.  This getting old is tough in more ways than one.

A lot of guys go to a trike, or the CanAm Spyders when they can't handle the weight or slow speed handling...keeps them riding for another decade or more, each ride for anyone of us at anytime could be our last by the random texting teen in a cage, just the truth of it....

I have heard some older riders rave bout riding a maxi Scooter, Suzuki Burgman 650?
