SE PA new to me 09’
« on: March 22, 2018, 02:36:58 am »
Just purchased an 09’ C14 a couple weeks ago. Looking forward to learning as much as I can from the forum. I haven’t ridden much the past two years due to a transfer for work and working lots of overtime. My last bike was a HD Street Glide. Prior to that I had a Speed Triple, Ducati ST4s and a Monster S2R.  I also used to ride back in the day, late 80’s-early 90’s when I was in the Air Force (before wife and kids lol). I’m in southern Chester County PA 10 minutes from Maryland and Delaware.

 :welcome:

Hey Greg... welcome as a subscriber. Hopefully you will check out the online event calendar and join in for an activity or two. Then maybe even consider becoming a full club member.

BTW - The northeast area Spring Fling rally will be in Wellsboro, PA this May. This event gets a great turn out and there should be rooms still available.

Greg,
Welcome again. Indeed, consider the Spring Fling. There will be a few of us riding up the “fun way” (meaning best roads we can find to get north) grouping up near Elizabethtown/ Hershey. If you decide to go, we are leaving Thursday morning.
Silver 2011 C-14. Previous rides: KZ-400, KZ-750, KZ-1000.  Keep the rubber side down.  Ride Fast......Live Slow......

Welcome aboard flyboy. Fly Air Farce, Navy Divers need the work! :)) If you have any questions specific to the 09 I've had pretty much every nut and bold out of mine at one time or another as have several others here. When you get around tuit the best upgrades for the money are the SISF ECU Flash, rear shock and forks. Others might not agree, ignore them :rotflmao: .

Thanks  :beerchug:   I was active duty for 10 years, spent the last 4 in Hawaii and did quite a bit of recreational scuba diving.  That went out the window with the motorcycles when I got married  :'(
