Waving hello as I "drive by"
« on: May 10, 2019, 12:12:49 pm »
Hello to all Coggers! I got an email from the national rally boys which set me to check in here. I used to be a really active member of COG several years ago. (I even edited the Concourier for a few years.)

Anyway, I'm highly impressed by this website. It's terrific and the club seems as active as ever, a tribute to its leadership and of course the members. At 76, I don't ride quite as much as I used to but I still ride the '04 FJR 1300 I bought to replace my C10 in 2005 but just not as far as I used to. In my glory days it was nothing to hop on and ride all the way to the east coast for a national rally (Canaan Valley, WV was the last one I attended).

Wishing COG all the best from Oregon's McKenzie River Valley, the gateway to heaven on earth.

Hi there other Bob,
I remember ya.  I was told to slow down some too.  I bought a huge van to shove the bike in just so I can get to the riding areas and cut my total miles.  Might work for you too?  Hope you continue to do well and stop in often.
