There was a lot of green still in the trees last Sunday when I rode across the Bear Mountain Bridge and North up to the Conn/Mass border.  I'll be very surprised if color is any where close to peaking near Bear Mountain.  I think it might be a couple more weeks but of course we can always hope I'm wrong.   :D

I'm going to aim to meet up with you all at lunch.  Earlier if our paths cross.  Any idea of what roads you'll be taking?

Anyone use the Glympse app?  I've been considering using it with another motorcycle group.  Allows for real-time GPS tracking between friends.  If anyone is using it, let me know, and maybe we can use it to meet up for the ride.

I’m considering moseying down from the Litchfield Hills through the eastern Hudson Valley.
Enjoyed some good BBQ at Bub’s in the Berkshires last weekend. Let’s see how the Barnstormer fares.   :13:

Good cigars.

And good tawny port.  But not if I have to ride home.   ;D

Just finished a 16-hour shift.  Going to curl up and get some sleep so I can ride down and meet for lunch.

Wow, what a great turn out!!! Great riding, great lunch & great people!! :) Thanks to all the folks who came out today. We had a total of 14 people on 11 bikes. Then we had another 6 folks meet us at the barnstormer BBQ. 20 coggers eating lunch, wonder if they had any food left after we ate!! :D Thank you to Mike for leading us on some beautiful back roads in the area and into Jersey. A BIG thanks to Terry for riding sweep and helping to mentor me today.  :great: Our long distance rider award goes to Chris,. joining us from out in Mattituck.  :motonoises: Thanks to the five new folks for joining us as well, hope you all come back. Time to start planing the next event!!  >:D

This is what it's all about folks!  Good roads and good company! :)
Had some new faces in the mix which is always great to see.  Many thanks to Roger for stepping up and organizing this ride.  If I had any good advice its only because I've probably made every mistake already! :))
Remember kids, you don't have to be an AAD or officer to host a ride just give your local AAD a shout if you have an idea for an event and we can help make it happen.  Happy Halloween all! ;)

Definitely a great day. We almost had a rally! Most likely the last real ride of the season. Lots of fun and always good to see familiar faces and the new faces were great. Any day riding is a good day!
