Connecticut Meet & Greet Dinner THU 4/25/19
« on: April 04, 2019, 10:03:36 am »
The Connecticut monthly activities have been going well and this is another attempt at a weeknight Meet & Greet Dinner Gathering.

Join us to enjoy good company, shenanigans, camaraderie, and food.

This month Andy Howgego of Newtown (COG#8265) suggested The Cookhouse in New Milford, CT.
This restaurant is a meat-lovers paradise that offers Steaks and Barbecue.

Plan to arrive 6:00pm to get seated and chit-chat.
Please RSVP by registering on the COG web site so that appropriate seating is reserved.

The cook house does some fine food in a barn atmosphere. Lots of room and on route 7. I have $5 gift certificates for the first 4 to sign up on the cog web site. hope to see you there.
         >:D And on a side note why is that date important to australians.  :))
Andy.

Does it have something to do with Winston Churchill? :violent-smiley-007:
A somber day for sure.

I'll be driving back from business in PA so will try to time it right to stop here for dinner before heading home.

Andy - I think I'm down for this. Cookhouse is pretty good. Might be running late as it's a haul from work, and I might have to go home first.

Thanks Andy and Steve for setting this up. Thursday's are a no go for me because of chasing a little white ball in league play.  I will check my schedule and possibly setup a m&g/rte for May. A friend of mine was suggesting a ride out to the Willamantic area to a old time diner that's air is saturated with bacon grease.
Have a good time, the weather is supposed to be great.

Cook House is awesome. Go there every time I'm in town. Never had a bad meal there.

Is there plans for another meet and greet? I'm back in CT. and would like to meet other Connie owners in or around Newtown. It's finally a nice day so I may head out this morning
