Creekside Grill'n Ride-Now 2 Days! [PA-MD]
« on: April 19, 2017, 02:28:54 pm »
Imagine a shady pavilion with a cool breeze overlooking a creek, with awesome food served up by Jack and Deb.  A great ride will follow the event.  This is the second annual event, so don't miss it! But wait......

The Creekside event is expanding to two days.  The location was just too nice to get out of the chair and go for a ride and not come back. So.......

By popular demand, the Creekside Grill 'n Ride this year is expanding to a 2-day event with overnight camping.  On Saturday, July 15, arrive at 11:30 with lunch served at noon.  Spend the day on self-guided rides OR hang around Creekside and enjoy.  An evening cookout will be at 5:00.  Overnight camping is available including outdoor shower & port-a-john facilities.  Sunday will begin with breakfast served at 8:30, followed again by self-guided rides.  For registration, contact Jack Frederick at the link below.  RSVP please.

Three weeks remain until Creekside Grill 'n Ride weekend.  For those who prefer a motel room, there are many choices within a 3-5 mile distance.  So get your RSVP into the Forum or directly to Jack & Deb (717) 764-9091 OR debbahn@gmail.com   :)

Lots of discussion about this Creek Side event today at the Ephrata Bikers Breakfast event. It should be well attended and much appreciated based on my conversations. Don't miss this one.  :great:  The word "relaxing" was mentioned often.

Come on and get your RSVP's in.  The plan is to arrive Saturday July 15th around 11:30 with lunch around noon.  Chuck offered to lead a ride after lunch, and trust me he knows the good roads in the area.  :motonoises:  After that, more chill'n   :49: and grill'n  :103: at 5 PM and even more Chill'n :beerchug: into the late evening with camping as an option.  Don't miss this one!

So, it is 8:45 Sunday evening.  Deb & I have been sitting at the pavilion - where are you guys???  Just watched two fawns pass by - bedding down in the field for the evening, about 30 ft. from where we are sitting.  We had a terrific weekend with our COG friends.  Thanks to those who initiated the fire pit last night.  Looking forward to next year's gathering.

Thanks so much to Jack and Deb for hosting this event again.  :great:  It was mentioned more than a few times, that we pity the fools that could not attend.  :'(  It was an awesome relaxing time, and Jack and Deb are the consummate hosts, providing everything you can think of from refreshments, to great food, to a perfect setting, to covered motorcycle parking and more.  Four star lodging for the campers too.  Thanks to Chuck Landis for leading our group on his favorite roads.   :motonoises: If you had a cheese curl yellow mark, you were loved.   :)

Jack and Deb need to be voted into the COG hall of fame for hosting the winter and summer Chill events every year.   :beerchug: :bravo_2: :c017:
