Real quiet around here lately,
« on: November 13, 2016, 12:55:21 pm »
Hello northeasters,,
It time to start some plans for the winter months, to keep the boring blues away.
Even a dinner get together or something.

Great Idea.  :PDT_Armataz_01_37:

Lunch or dinner Meet & Greet are simple to set up.

A past member used to organize an annual catered winter social activity in Connecticut that was quite popular. Folks would even stay overnight nearby. It would like to great to bring back this activity. If someone has access to a private hall we could do something similar. We could also do this at a restaurant with separate/private room and cater a group event or just order off the menu. I have a place to consider, but need to see if it will be available. (maybe post holidays since many places are already booked)

Terry F organizes a late afternoon COG lunch gathering the Saturday of the NYC motorcycle show.

Other winter activity ideas worth considering are:  Motorcycle Movie , Safety Related Seminar, etc.

COG Northeast members can contact me directly to discuss ideas,  and how to get them on the calendar to make them happen.

There is more to be gained by members raising hands saying "I'll do that" instead of pointing fingers saying "nobody's doing that."

My favorite was the NE Holiday social at Hooters  :beerchug: ;D
<--- is there any mechanism in place to deal with a non- productive, antagonistic, former non- member such as this?

May be look around the garage for items not used but of some value to others for donation to the auction Charlies fund?
