C'mon out and join us for a M&G at Dan's Place, conveniently located right of I-95 at exit 5.  We plan on an 1 1/2 to 2 hour ride afterwards, ending up back in RI for some much needed ice cream (we COGgers are often dangerously underweight!). We might be able to squeak in a trip to Twisted Throttle if anyone is interested and has any left- over ice cream money.

The link  in the calander to sign up for this event is located here: Calendar Page

Looking forward to seeing a pile of you folks there!

C'mon people, better sign up fast 'cause there are only 469 places left! And really, wouldn't you rather be the person inside laughing at the people outside with their hungry little noses pressed up against the glass than.... well, one of the hungry people outside with their hungry little noses up pressed up to the glass?

BDF,

So what's the long range forecast for this event? I hope it's going to be nice so that I might get
my first ride of the year in. Don't forget to check if the ice cream place is going to be open, you
wouldn't want a cog mutiny due to lack of ice cream.  :rotflmao:  :D

Right now (Mon., 28 Apr) it is 62F, partly cloudy, 0% chance of rain.

We have been tinkering with a route for a ride afterwards and I <think> it may include a stop for ice cream for all of us dangerously underweight COGgers. Actually, most of us are pretty 'drought and famine resistant' other than Greg, especially when he is wearing his prison overalls.  :-\  :D

Just a note of caution for any considering this or any other riding in southern New England: there is a LOT of sand left on the secondary roads, especially the small roads through the woods! Much, much more than usual at this time of year. I would not consider it particularly dangerous myself but we are going to have to be cautious on any winding roads with blind curves, which is most of them.

Better hurry up folks, only 467 spots remaining! You don't want to miss this one 'cause it is the genuine Dan's Place, not the cheap imitation you have all heard about.

The forecast is looking pretty good too- 67F and partly cloudy. It looked like it might try to rain earlier in the week but I whipped out my fob and the clouds parted. Is there anything KiPass cannot do?

It was supposed to rain all day long for this M&G and ride:

Outstanding- now we have some people coming from as far away as Rhode Island!

Glad to see you can make it Todd and Sheri. Looking forward to seeing all you folks at this thing!

Sher & I hope to make it to the meet & greet part of this but probably
won't be going on the ride part. I won't be signing up for this because of
a glitch with my membership but we hope to see you at Dan's.

Just a quick Thank You to Brian & Andrea for setting up this meet & greet. We had great weather and the food
was awesome (at least mine was) and the ride to the ice cream was good as well.

Thanks for a great day. :motonoises:   :great:

Thanks to all who came out & joined us! What a wonderful day it was, a dozen smiling faces, it seems as everyone enjoyed they're meals, sun was shining bright; and sitting outside eating ice cream was certainly a GREAT kickoff to our season. Now my camera battery was dead and our GPS decided to not work......but otherwise a perfect day. ;)  Our good friend Loretta stepped up and grabbed some great shots for us with her camera, so hopefully we'll have something to post soon.

Safe riding all & See you at the next one.  :motonoises:
