The 3rd annual BIG Chill Meet and Greet
« on: October 26, 2016, 11:10:16 am »
Now that the first frost hit, it's time to start thinking about the 3rd Annual Big Chill.  Jack and Deb will graciously share their warm wood stove and great food Sunday January 22nd, 2017 at 1 PM.  What are the odds that we'll have a repeat of last year's blizzard!??

Thanks Jack and Deb!  :beerchug:

Bonus points if you ride to the event in January.   :motonoises:   Two years ago we had two riders.  I doubt few rode last year, since many could not make it due to the Blizzard.

Now that the holidays are behind us, please RSVP for our upcoming event on Jan. 22.  It's only 3 weeks away; by then we will all be experiencing cabin fever.  Stop by for good food and fellowship with other Coggers.

Good news....extended forecast calls for temps in the high 40's with NO SNOW.  So dust off the bike and ride to the BIG Chill one week from today.  Plenty of on-site parking.  There may even be a game of "corn hole" in the parking lot.  If you haven't done so yet, RSVP now!

I will be at training for Passive Optical Networks learning about point to multi-point architectures.  Guess where I would rather be that day?  Someone that has never attended a COG event, please take my place!   :beerchug:

I had all intentions of coming over this year, Jack and Deb are wonderful hosts and it's always nice to see the gang, however this year I cant make it. Last week,my brother who lived in Ft Worth Tx was working 2nd shift, only lived 5 mins from work, rode is bike to work,a new Royal Enfield Continental GT,they had been enjoying good weather there, anyway,on his way home a deer ran out in front of him and he was killed. So today I ask that the group raise their glasses in toast to a fellow fallen rider and remember how short our lives are and cherish the times we share together, for we never know when we will get our call to come home. My only comfort in this tragedy is knowing that he was doing something he truly loved when he got the call. So hats off, here's to Kenny, may his ride beyond always be full of twisties and smooth roads !
