St. Louis.

I know it's 50 miles out of the way, but we've been that way before towing a camper and our rig is 52' long (truck and trailer). Interstate is easy driving and fuel is everywhere. After we scope it out, we might take the scenic route on the way home.

Somewhere in Oregon, location has slipped my mind already.

I found another gravel road short cut, this one got me through Fort Collins a bit faster. Jami was not happy.

We need to stop and take more pictures, but I dislike turning 10 hour days into 12-14 hours for bike selfies.

Well, I don't have that kind of time and certainly not enough gas money for this old truck to git all the way to Utah.

But I can give ya a raincheck. Next year or whenever we can get together we'll make it all happen.

Gumby, one of my favorite things to do is stop, smell and take a pic of the roses. Nobody ever cared if I arrived at 6 or 8 lol

The seat was great, I almost packed the Airhawk just in case, but I am glad I didn't. Plus, we didn't have room for it

Jami and I did a couple of test runs last weekend and found the relay switch for my seat heater was wired wrong. It blew a fuse when I turned it on so after the second fuse I pulled it apart and rewired it. Jami had heat so she was happy, but get this. We left Tuesday evening in rush hour traffic to The Dalles and it was hot, I felt her back there fidgeting around (which makes it harder in stop and go traffic two up and loaded down) but kept on going. We stop at KFC in The Dalles and she gets off sweating profusely. She says "that f'n seat heater was on the whole way it didn't matter which way I turned the switch." Easy fix, unplug the heater! For the life of me I still can't figure out why she wasn't smacking me all the way there to try and get me to pull over.

I gotta say she is a trooper, I think I'll keep her.

Anyway, I think her relay switch is wired wrong as well. The wires are not easily accessible like the Corbin switch so I plug it in when she needs it. I'm going to look at that after I wash the bugs off'r today. Kind of a rookie move for a seat guy don't you think? I'm guessing maybe his assistant dude did that

Fais, I will stop and smell a few roses the rest of the trip. Wait, did you say you were on a bus? Why you taking a bus to Missouri?

Oh look, I have a choice of going across Nebraska or Kansas.

My two favorite Fly Over States. Which way would you go? Speed limit is 75mph on both I80 and I70, but I70 looks like it may have less construction. Hmmm.

This reminds me of voting, I had a choice and had to pick the worse of two evils.

Hit the worst weather (WIND) I have ever attempted to ride through today. Jami and I had to park and let it pass after getting blown into the other lane a few to many times.

These people were not home, but the garage was not locked so we took cover.

I left a thank you note.
