Ok, just got home. We had a great time. We logged 287 miles today and 877 total for the weekend. Thanks to Butch and everyone else involved in putting on a great ride. Ted blistered his back tire on the way home and we rode the last 80 miles with the steel belts showing. I think I was the only C-10 there. Even though it was the oldest bike, and with bias ply tires I managed to keep up with the "big dogs".  Thanks again for letting us play with ya'll.

hi guys, it was nice to have met some of you at the motel. I was the rider of the black Super Tenere and part of the BMW riders club of Austin TX. I almost took my 2013 C14 for this ride  :motonoises:

Jim (Snyder), it was great to ride with you, Ted and everyone else. You tear up the road very well with your C-10. George did a great job of being the ride captain as always, Friday and Saturday. Robert dropped me off by my house this afternoon. It was a great time to ride with good friends and good weather. I look forward to seeing everyone again at the Wildflower ride in April.

Guys I am in LOVE with AR 123 & AR 341. I could camp on those two roads all day, any day. I think we need a second Arkansas ride for next year either spring or fall. May consider staying someplace like Heber Springs. The gears are already turning in my head. Varooom !!!

There is another AR. ride in the spring. Horseshoe Mountain Rendezvous, last weekend of April.

I have been discussing this idea with the other AADs and AD and Heber Springs would be a good location among others.

Morrilton, AR is just down the road from Russellville on I40, has both nice rooms and a RV park, and is in a wet county. AR9 runs north from here so access to other roads is prime.

I know Cliff has his ride, but not everyone are the camping ilk, especially my wife who prefers to stay in more comfort.

March is not a good month for AR, so I am thinking the 5th through 8th of May would be a good target for am AR ride for those who do not attend the HMR.

I have some great 1080p video of Friday's ride from Jasper through the Pig Trail that I need to process. The files are ~21.5 GB so it will take some time to polish it into a Blu-ray format with 5.1 audio choices. When I get it done (a few weeks) I will let everyone know and make arrangements to distribute the media.

SPEAK UP ON THIS THREAD IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THIS 2ND AR HAPPEN.

Craig

SPEAK UP ON THIS THREAD IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THIS 2ND 3RD AR HAPPEN.

There are already 2 Arkansas events scheduled for next year.
Are you considering (and asking for support) of a third?
If yes, your planning the weekend after Cliff's?

My plan is to go to Cliff's HMR. (Last weekend of April)
Cliff and his family worked really hard and put on a great event this year.
I know he'll do the same next year.
NOTE: Don't have to camp. Motels are not far from his place..

Ride safe, Ted

Ok then motel it is. As long as I get to ride 123 & 341 I'll be satisfied.

Ted,

If there is enough interest, then a third event is OK in my book, after all it is more riding which is the purpose of our get togethers.

I will likely not go to Arkansas the week of HMR.
