2nd Annual Run with the Bullfrogs
« on: December 07, 2016, 07:28:53 pm »
So since Doug and his track day stole my date, how about March 25-26th?
Too close to Bike Week?

Give a shout here, if you think you'd be able to make it 3/25-3/26.

And if you weren't there last year, it's a social rally (cause the roads around here mostly suck) at my place in Fellsmere, FL. Frog legs, campfires, good company, fireball.....the usual....also music/karaoke/dancing.....pretty sure everyone had a pretty good time last year and I'd love to do it again, if the interest is there.

Also, I might also consider doing a ride to the Seal Museum in Ft. Pierce if anyone wanted to go.  Again, no great roads but a good museum.

I think you'll be alright for that weekend.
For bikeweek most of the COGger's I've come across seem to day trip in. The only 'formal' events are the breakfast and Chili dinner, both on Saturday the 18th.

Patti,

That should work. Jack and Tim are working on a Natchez Trace (Hohenwald TN) rally the following weekend March 30 - April 2. We don't think there would be much conflict as there is an 825 mile distance between the two. This will give the SE region members an opportunity to attend a spring rally.

Lock it down and put it on the calendar. Thanks for stepping up for the SE Region!

Would like to attend, but getting my right knee replaced on the 14th of February and a month later is probably a bit too soon. It will be close, I'll be walking, but pushing the trailer around, folding it up, isn't going to happen for another month after that.

PM me iff'n you need to spend an extra night or two. We can set you up in the Roadtrek. We can go ride some roads that don't suck as bad as most do down here. They have like hills and curves and vistas, oh my!

Packing a keg is unlikely. Especially so if I bring the 650.  :rotflmao: Now IF I bring the 'wing and the Lee-Sure Lite ... . Wonder how long it would take to "settle."  :confuse:

Appreciate the offer of a place to stay.  I'll let you know.

I say keep it the same date... if Doug won't be there, at least we can get some sleep!
Patty, I think it's a good idea to move it, whether we can make it or not, but Irene is planning to be at Jennings.
I may be at Jennings also, but only as a spectator  :'(

Leaving for FL Wed. AM. Enjoyed Run with the Bullfrogs last year, although Fri. night around the fire remains a bit if a blur, possibly due to excess consumption of FB and APshine.I'll be there with some APshine and try again.

   Thanks Patti and Dave

Hey Patty, count me in as well. This time I'll actually sleep there. The weather should be much warmer. I missed out on all the campfire excitement last time.  :rotflmao:

hey folks, your friendly neighborhood AAD here.

We're kinda winging this so give us a bit of time to get this on the calendar. Still tying up some loose ends.

Patti has already shot me the ad copy for the description, so this ain't on her. I'm working on the insurance, the outdoor facilities, door prizes, etc. A bit of a learning curve.

Later, SteveJ

Will definitely pencil this in. Will there be karaoke again? I haven't practiced any but surely i've gotten better  :D

Maybe Ewa can make it or maybe I'll be with her in NYC. (Guess where I'd rather be?!?)

Had a great time last year and I'd love to make the frog legs again  :beerchug:
