hmm is there going to be a who rode the furthest to get there gig, if so I may challenge some other FL riders and come up reppin' SC   ;D

you'll never get here in time if you ride the harley!   :nananana: :nananana: :nananana:

 ;D

I just set the cruise and run it at 80, no faster o slower than I ran the C14 on trips.  The silver HD just matches my hair latest hair coior   ;D

I'll vouch for that. Nice looking scoot there #9334.

Yeah, if you want true ram air tuning, you better be willing to ram some air! (SiSF)

Thought it was time to bring this back to the top. Remember that members from GA, FL, MS, AL. etc can all count for South Carolina. Members from VA, TN, WV, OH, etc can count for North Carolina. ONLY COG members count in the state totals but we certainly welcome guests.  :)

Y'all come!

We've got a great location (props to Gerry Danko for locating it for us). They're happy we're coming. Now YOU need to show up.  There will be door prizes and (possibly) some freebies. :)

SC members!  Last year NC smoked us (Dave took advantage by picking a date that I couldn't make :38:  So y'all really, really need to come out and let's take back the "bargain'" rights. :great:

after lunch we're headed west and north to spend the night in Asheville.  Not sure what route we'll take.  perhaps through lake Lure.

I'm not going to be able to make it this year.  I have a P-Funk show in Myrtle Beach on Friday and I have to head to Charleston on Saturday.  Sorry to all my fellow South Carolinians.  Y'all have fun and beat NC!

Austin has quantity.  I think Asheville has the quality.  been to both.  I think Asheville is a bit more edgy.  definitely not as many people though.   :great:

....although it's been quite a few years for Austin.   :??:

I'll be in the cage tomorrow, as I'll be bringing my dad.

And before anyone ask.........

No! He's never been on a motorcycle and at his age and with his health issues, I'm not going to put him on one! Hopefully he'll sleep most of the 6+ hours that we'll be in the car Saturday.

Sorry for thinking about this so late but we have a farm 5 minutes away from the diner.  The lawn is freshly mowed and there's a stack of dry firewood near the pit.  If anyone wants to camp we have plenty of room out here. And the pond has plenty of bass - we have fishing gear.

I even have tents should you opt to stay local after leaving your base.  Plenty of tools in the garage if you have any issues, and a trailer in the drive if it's a hard break.  The pools not open but the spa is available.  See you in the morning but if you need me in the interim, I'm at 704/904-7495.

For those not finding "Indian Land, SC" on your gps, Jim N Nicks is next to a Lowe's store at the southwest corner of Hwy's 160 and 521.

Hope to see many of you there, especially if you're from SC....

I had a BBQ sandwich for lunch in honor of the event even though I couldn't be there. Maybe that'll count for half a point for NC.
