Barber Vintage Race Days Oct 11-14
« on: July 03, 2012, 01:53:58 pm »
I thought I'd start a thread to gauge interest in attending this event.  I'm a track guy and have had my bike to barber before.  it's a nice destination, particularly with the museum there.  From Charlotte, it's a 7.5 hour drive (at least in a truck pulling a motorcycle on a trailer), and can be done in a day on bike.  I'm thinking I'll try to spend a day there, seeing the museum and watching a little racing, then come back.

Anyone have any thoughts of going to this and particular plans/ideas?

There is another thread on this subject.  My recollection is that Iron Butt Al is organizing a SE area get together for the Vintage Motorcycle Days event at Barber.   Here is the link:

Hey all,
So just a reminder that there is a event on the SouthEast calender for this event.
If you are looking at coming please reg there so I can get some idea about how many are coming.
I am trying to organize a BBQ or Steak night for this.
Look forward to see everyone.
