I start every week with the mindset of riding somewhere on Saturday. I often don't know where...but this week I do.

I hope we're sharing a great breakfast spot on the 24th.

Ride fun.

SATURDAY could be beautiful. For instance weather channel extended is predicting 20% up here in gainesville and an even better 10% in Deland.  :-\

Let's have a great day of sport touring.

Depending on when I get back to good, ol' Fla, I could be in for this. Won't know until later in the week.

Probably won't be able to make this one. I have some work to do on Shoodaben after the National. My week is shaping up to be very busy at work and there's a honey-do list at home. All of this means the stars seem to be aligning against my efforts to get out on Saturday.

If things work out, should be a good day. Remember, get Shoodabeen ready first in case all else clears :))

So....how many folks are coming to breakfast?

It shows seven on the events rsvp .  How many are coming that didn't respond there so I know what to tell Sparky's?

Thank you
Ride fun.

Well...snap!
I was planning to go, but our 2001 Suburban made other plans for my Saturday.
Today on my way home from work, I hit the brakes (fortunately, I was just messing around - don't ask, there's no good answer!), and the pedal went downnnnnn.  Appears my left rear brake line sprung a leak.
I made it home OK, but I know what I'll be doing Saturday... at least for a couple of hours :(

At least it's paid off :great:

Jorge, hiya. You may want to consider replacing all of the brake lines as they all get corroded. They're kinda important. Big job but...
Y'all ride fun.

I may or may not suck but the riding out here definitely does not suck although disappointed that Logan Pass is still closed for snow removal. Kinda late this year.

Still on TDY from Glacier Park. Departing on Sunday for Eureka area for a coupla days then off to BC. Ttfn.

PS. If someone knows a non-complicated way to post pics from Google Photos I'm all ears. Shoot me a pm, please and thank you.

Just got back from this a little while ago. Good ride with the (small) group. Had a good time visiting. Thanks, Roy for setting this up and leading us at a "spirited" pace! I had to work my 650 to keep up with the "big" bikes! We need more participation for these. Yes, it's hot. But earlier in the AM, it was quite nice.

I tried to make it but wound up riding around Flathead Lake instead. The nice lady at the park pay booth told me that the snow removal equipment left the park today. Yeehaw, looks like Logan Pass will open really soon. Will play this by ear. Still trying on the pic thing. Iffn I can figure it out I'll start a new thread and a bit of a travel log.

I enjoyed it a lot. A couple times I pulled up to a turn thinking I was going to hesitate to group us all together and then realized 'no need' the 650 was right there. Good group and we all fit at one four top.
Ride fun.

As usual, had a great time. Appreciate yer effort Roy. I always learn a few more good roads to ride when you do these gigs. Jacket seems to fit a little tighter on the way back as well! Not sure what thats all about  :truce: Looking forward to the July ride. The ole shin heater on the first gen ought to really be at peak efficiency!  ;D :motonoises:

Currently on TDY at glacier Park.

I hear ya Steve... good advice.
I pulled it in the garage, pulled out spare tire so I could see under there, located the leak, and sat there... pondering.
Ended up taking it to a local shop that was HIGHLY recommended by a friend from work, and told them to take care of it, along with any other lines that look less than in decent condition. It's the kind of job that would have taken me a week or longer to do, and it sounds like it won't be too much $$.
Others that came from Northern climates will understand...  Truck was a Michigan vehicle for first 8 years, then Indiana (less salt used than MI, but still a lot) for the next 6 years. I had some body work done last year to change it from White/Brown to White, so looks decent enough, runs great (just doesn't stop well - LOL). It's worth it. I'l have it back this week.
Sorry I missed the group, I hope it was a good turnout!
