I'm still negotiating the w/e. Our daughter will be in town from Boston for the w/e and I only get to see her every 3-4 months. She's going to a class reunion on Saturday night, so I'll be there at least Saturday afternoon and leave Sunday am.

Jerry, you can come in the cage. It's not like the roads around there are new to you. You know you only come for the campfire camaraderie anyway. :beerchug:

That would drive me crazy knowing y'all were out riding and me playing tiddlewinks  LOL  Looks like I will be there on 2 now

I just called Ironhorse to reserve a bed in one of the bunkhouses, they are all booked up for the weekend.  Not sure if it is all COGgers or not.

I told her I will bring my tent

gonna have some fun!  we've got a few surprises in store for the weekend, so keep the registrations coming!

I'm bringing my chinabike.  One day I'm going to ride from Robbinsville to Tellico Plains on the forest service roads for lunch.  if anyone wants to go, bring a bike that'll handle heavily graveled and dirt roads.

If I had one, I'd come along. Sounds like fun. If you bring it to RWTW, Forest Service Rd 25 is just up the hill toward Woody's Gap and you ride all the way to Ellijay area, past the beginning of the Appalachian Trail and Springer Mtn. I'm Kawasaki green with envy.

I have the same bike except I bought mine already assembled for $1600. It's a surprisingly capable little dual-sport.  I took mine out to OK to go through the Dragoo Adventure Rider Training (DART). The only place the bike struggled (I struggled everywhere  ::) ) was in DEEP sand.

Yep. Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route ride is coming up.  :o  That's why I'm missing this rally. I'll be enroute to CO. Wish me (and my little Chinese dual-sport) luck. :great:  Hope you guys/gals have a great time.   :)

I guess I missed Glenn 12 post, Tinsailor is correct, for tent camping just show up and pick a spot.  When you get there you should check in first, they need the obligatory paperwork and at the same time you can choose your meals for breakfast and supper if you plan on eating there

Lost one person, but picked up another.  it's not too late to join us this weekend.  I'm heading up Thursday morning.  Plan to arrive around 2 to 3 PM.  I'll have beer on ice the whole way in the trailer.  if anyone needs a cold, refreshing drink when they arrive, hit me up!   :beerchug:

I believe Hellbender sells beer, and it is such a terrible ride to get there   :rotflmao:

I should get there around 2-3 myself, set up my tent then make a beer run to Hellbender   ;D

I think I'll leave Wednesday & head north towards Kentucky. Then take some back roads across the southern end & turn south to NC.  A little out of the way, but anything beats I-40 across AR & TN. Not to mention just more riding  :motonoises:.

I should be there middle afternoon Thurs.
