I believe Hellbender sells beer, and it is such a terrible ride to get there   :rotflmao:

I should get there around 2-3 myself, set up my tent then make a beer run to Hellbender   ;D

Is that the store there by the road going up to Fontana Village?

Yes, it is on a curve, sells gas and has Hellbender on the building

Well I stand corrected, the name of the gas station is The Pitstop   :-[  I just looked at it on  google maps

that's a good reminder.  Graham County is DRY!  Hellbender sells beer, but carry out???  I'm not aware of that.  I don't want to encourage anyone to drink and ride...especially on 28!  :o

Thanks Tim, may take you up on this. Let me check out some routes. I should still be able to make a loop into Kentucky & make a day of it. I assume you know the good back roads across northern TN?

I haven't even looked at a map yet, but I know you're in Clarksville which I believe is near the state line.

Cliff, you could hang out with Dad for a night too!  I know he would be glad to have you.  He is just a few minutes south of Bowling Green, KY.  He isnt making this ride as I think 3 in a row will be enough next month!

I usually go from here to Nashville via 12 and get on the slab to Lebanon and then get on 70 to crossville then south on 68 and go over to 72 and pick up the the dragon and go in from there
