It sure was a perfect day for this ride!  340 miles for BBQ, can't think of a better reason to ride!  I learned a few new roads too that will keep me even further away from the ATL traffic when needed!  Thanks John for putting it together and showing the way to one of my favorite Q places now!

Robert, glad you got home. John's a lifesaver! Also a darn good host!

It was great to see the guys and meet a few new ones. Now about that burger...you are assuming that it was beef. From what I saw around there, it could've been bear, deer, coon, squirrel, or some other road kill...

Very interesting place, complete with semis loading in the highway, Duke Boy-style pickup truck driving, and more. Those that didn't come missed a true Georgia experience. Let's do it again! :beerchug:

Ron:  I know this about the cheeseburger, it was DANGED GOOD!  Better than the one in Tiger, GA.  Fall apart DELICIOUS.  How can they cook a 1/2 lb burger and it still be so tender that it will fall apart before you can finish it.

Now as for the Duke Boy style driving, they aren't used to seeing that many motorcycles at once.   BGOF    It totally got their attention.  Now as for the semi's being loaded in the middle of the road, that even was a surprise to me.  When I came upon it, I thought, what the hell?

As for doing this again, there are two other Q places nearby in a bit more civilized part of the country, so just let me know enough ahead of time and we might make it happen.  As for which one is the best, that might be a task for us to take on.  But when it comes to atmosphere, Heavy's is the outright winner.  No contest.

Sounds like a great time.  Wish I could have been there.  I had dental surgery on Friday. >:(  I waited until Saturday morning to finally bail.  Hopefully next time.   :beerchug:

It was a good time. Good roads, food, and company. The decor is something else, too! Hopefully next time. Speaking of which - when's that gonna be?
