There was a new guy talking about going that had never camped.
In another discussion, he was as being advised on what tent etc to buy..
Did he make it, and if so, how did he do?

Ride safe, Ted

Ok, was this a RWTW Rally?
I haven't seen a single embarrassing photo, or heard a drinking around the campfire story...

Ride safe, Ted

Because we were talking about you Ted!  :nananana: :rotflmao:

Cliff really glad you decided to go with us on Saturday. The rides with those fast local cats is usually fast and furious but always a lot of fun. Plus you can pick up on new roads always with them. Look forward to riding with you again in the future. :beerchug:

Thanks for letting me tag along Roy, even though y'all had to wait on me at every intersection. My new tires are very thin on the sides & my peg feelers are noticeably shorter than they were when I got there.

Look me up anytime your in Arkansas.

Cliff  :beerchug:

Yupp, Ram was the name I recall.
I don't recall seeing any new notes from him in along time??

Maybe he was from Florida?

Thank you to Deke. I had a front wheel bearing go crap out on me. Stand up guy from WV. Put my Connie on his trailer and dropped me off at my home. I will be a COG member for life. This is a brotherhood.

right on Troy!!
I had my brain go crap on me last year, and had another COGger drop of my C10 carcass at home.
Had another one bring me tie-down straps early Sunday morning so we could tie it in the trailer it.
Had others help me clean up campsite and put my tent away.
We were definitely NOT alone that weekend there.
But nothing special, really, that what COG is like. :great:

According to some of the "forum only subscribers" the club aspect has no value. Oh, wait, did I type that out loud?  :-X

Wish I had gotten more time to spend with everyone, but when Irma went west, I felt that I needed to get back to Florida.  I was worried about being able to buy gas on the way back, but that was not an issue.  We never lost power at my house but much of our county (including my parents who are in their 80s) did.  All in all, there was very little structural damage in Central Florida, just lots of trees and power lines.  I think fortune smiled on us and I set a new personnel mileage record, 1280 miles in less than 48 hours.  See you all at Barber.
