RWTW 2017
« on: February 08, 2017, 09:48:42 am »
This will be on the calendar as soon as I can tie down some costs, but the 23rd edition will be held September 7. 8. 9 and 10.  That is Thursday through Sunday to be held at Two Wheels of Suches    http://twowheelsofsuches.com/

The fee will only be for the Saturday night supper, the camping or cabin fee will be paid directly to TWoS.  In the past the fee was $15 and I am trying to make sure it won't change.

Some of the best riding in the country is located in any direction from the campground  :great: and those that have attended know that for a fact.  Those of you who have never attended, it would be a great time to join us and see why this has been going on for 23 years  :beerchug:

When I get it on the calendar I will update the subject to show it is listed.

Until then, the SE calendar is full of events and I encourage each of you to check it out and participate in some or all  :) of the events.

You don't have to ride a Connie to attend, and remember our motto, "Join for the bike and stay for the people"

Safe riding to all

If I can get home on schedule I'll be there. Probably won't be able to make reservations until last minute but I'll be camping anyway, hopefully there will be enough room for a sleeping bag somewhere.

In the past tent camping doesnt need reservations
Reservations for rooms and cabins are needed

And I wouldn't be surprised if the rooms/cabins are almost full.

Are they going to allow trailer camping in the parking lot this year? Otherwise, may have to mosey down the road. I like my queen sized bed and a/c.   ;D

I certainly hope so.  that's where I'll be with the toy hauler!

Oh wait...if I decide to bring the sidecar, I might just bite the bullet and tent camp or something.  Depends on whether Denise and Madelyn come along.  I'll come over and drink a beer at your camper though!

I have a queen size bed in my "tent" and could have a/c if I bothered to bring one with. Though I did for a while and decided it wasn't worth the weight in a tent.

I agree. AC in the NE GA mtns. in SEP is completely unnecessary.  GEEZ! Night-time temps go into the 60s or below.

But along with the a/c comes a tv, microwave, a refrigerator for Sport Rider's beer, a coffee pot, hot water heater, a shower.... ;)  Oh, and a furnace if it does drop to well below 70...

(and I've seen it 90 degrees in those GA mtns in September, too)

Correct about no reservation for tent camping and when we had 140 people for the 20th RWTW there was still a lot of tent space available, so don't worry about that.

"No facilities available."  That means you have to go outside to pee/shower just like the REAL campers. :rotflmao: :motonoises:
