One of my late night delights can of clams/cappers low cal

Sardines are young herring ...

Gramps and Dad would buy big  barrels of Herring in brine , then rinse , add seasoning/spices, Yum

One New Years I went to a night club ,after the family party,  asked a girl to dance , since it was loud I kind of screamed at her with my Herring breath , her head went back I could tell she was

shocked by my FISH

breath, kind of funny at the time ...

Yes she danced , 40 year ago I was on the floor a lot , use to date a girl with many years of Jazz instruction  , when she let loose she OWNED the floor,

The girl in question did not get the fish breath blast till we were on the floor , only got one dance and a funny story  :))

You think being a Nurse she was use to bad smells :D

while eating diner at our  favorite   restaurant The Boathouse  last night , I told my wife that I was Violated by my MD during my CDL physical Friday

She responded during her 38 years as a ICU nurse she had violated 100s :-X

Excellent! I hope everyone else sees the value in coming on Thursday as well. FYI we are planning a track walk before sundown so come early enough to set up in the paddock and then come with us for a track walk before dinner :beerchug:

No idea what kind of lines we need to take on the C14 at JenningsGP.  :motonoises:

Alan, Jennings is only a 15 minute drive to Lake Park at Exit 5.  Plenty of places to eat there.

        :great:   Thanks Reid and Doug for the info.   Going to eat as a group sounds good to me.  I'm good w/Mexican for Thursday night. :)   Where ever it is should be should someone tell them in advance that a large group is coming so tables can be arranged?    It would be nice to sit together,  maybe.  :))
     Anybody bringing a canopy?  The track is 2 miles(+/-)  from what I'm understanding.   Walking the complete course would be the longest continuous walk I've done in years.;)      Bring the drone w/the camera!   :)  I'll be able to view it from my chair.  :beerchug:  LOL!    :rotflmao:

Reminders for next week that will make everything go smoothly. There isn't much you have to do to be ready but here is the short list. Personally I'm stoked  :beerchug:

Bring a roll of blue painters tape, available at any lowes/home depot/wallyworld

Be sure you have more than 50% treadlife remaining

Rent a suit/boots/gloves at trackshop in the morning

Bring zip ties for rear footpegs

GoPro's are encouraged. They help you learn.

Bring pliers/screwdriver to remove plate

Youtube how to pull fuse for headlight (not required but recommended)

A tire gauge is recommended. If you're going to air down you may want your own air compressor.

Most important: Don't forget your full-face (not flip up) HELMET (Yes I've done that)

A pop-up canopy can offer much needed shade. If you don't have one consider buying an inexpensive model at wallyworld

A wide brimmed hat/sombrero and a towel is good to have in the paddock

Don't forget to bring water. This will be a workout and hydration is important.

Doug,
I'm not riding the, but planning to be there Thursday night, and from Friday noonish.
Are there food options there, nearby restaurants, or does each prepare their own camping meals?
Just wondering for planning purposes.
Thanks!
See ya Thursday

We have food concessions on site for breakfast and lunch. Restaurants are nearby exit 5 Lake Park Georgia. we have fit concessions on site for breakfast and lunch. Restaurants are near by exit 5 Lake Park Georgia. I suppose camping food is good too. We have a great group coming Friday and there should be about 50 of us in total. Saturday should be even busier! I'm glad to hear you and Irene are coming Thursday evening. I hope everybody realizes they need to come on Thursday night. please pardon brevity and errors since I voice dictate this message

I never thought I would be saying this: Connie is ready for JenningsGP. :)

Doug, your list is right on. I would also recommend bringing a few more 'essentials':
Cooler;
Chairs;
Extension Cords;
Fan,
Broom.

I also bring small towels/rags. Depending how hot is going to be I throw them in the cooler with cold water and, in between sessions, I wrap them around my neck.

      ::)   Carlyson, and the BROOM is for??   How easy was it to take the mirrors off?     Is there many 120 volt plug ins available and where are they?
                    Thanks   Alan in S. Fl    ;) :)
