Y'all have fun.  I'll be in the Smokies doing a family thing.  Junkyard Dog is some good eats.  Amber Falls & Keg Springs has good wine & tastings.  Not sure about Natchez Hills- heard they ran towards dry wines so my wife hasn't felt a need to stop in there yet.  Centerville & Grinder's Switch Winery aren't too far and their wine's decent too.

We have a little weather rolling by overnight from up in that direction but by departure time from here NE of Atlanta, should be a clear weekend (jinx fully in place, rainsuit onboard).  :))

I'm leaving Friday about 8:30 am and should roll in around oh:30 pm... depending on naps... I'm definitely cutting cross country and avoiding the traffic mess formerly known as Hotlanta.

See y'all there!!

The Cell service is not very good at the campground for internet, phone calls sometimes work, sometimes not.

We had a great rally.  :great:Weather cooperated, great food, great friends, great time.  :) Many, many thanks to Tim, Jack, Gwenn, Belinda and all who worked to make it happen. We raised $200 for OtP! I'm sure someone will post some pics. ;)

Really wanted to make this, but we just have too much going on right now.

Happy to hear what we already knew: "great food, great friends, great time"!   :beerchug:

Will try to make it next time.   :great:

Whooee!!! What a great w/e!  Many, many thanks to the hosting crew! Textbook rally. Great food, interesting location, fascinating conversations.   Now we just need to make Kenny & Bob's act PORTABLE. Those two are the best campfire entertainers I've seen. (Can yo tell that I enjoyed this weekend>) Wowser!

Here's the crew at Barber Cycles in Hohenwald on Saturday. Great dealership filled with NICE people! Thanks Barber!!

Had a fantastic time.  Thanks to everyone who put this rally together, what a great way to start the riding season off. Next on the list horseshoe mountain rendevous aka Cliffs ride.

Big thank you Tim and Jack and the whole family including the musicians  :beerchug:

There are 100 campgrounds between my house and this rally and likely 1,000,000 bikers too; but we have something really cool here. Always worth the time and travel.

Paulie rode 970 miles to rhe rally on Fri and likely a longer route avoiding Atl to get home on Sun. Too cool. Had to give him a shout out  :motonoises: :beerchug:

Glenn and the small sized rally came together to get another $200 to OTP - awesome 👏🏽

And of course a few pics

Just to take a moment to thank everyone for coming, we had good friends, good food, and just a really good time and it would seem like we got outa there in the nick of time by the looks of the local weather. Hohenwald won't be an annual Rally because the SE Spring rally will be a floating event but the tentative planned date is for it to be at the end of April, first of May where the full weekend will fall. So stay tuned for future events. Special thanks to Jack and Gwynn for the food arraignments and being the local liaisons. And everyone that helped to make this a wonderful and safe event.

Hey guys, a fellow local here was at Fall Hollow Campground in Hohenwald and his bike was stolen night before last.  It was raining, he had the key and they rode off on it!!   :(

Just hoping folks in that area could put the word out and keep an eye out for a KTM 950R Erzberg Limited Edition.  He had changed the wheels a couple of weeks ago from the spoke wheels with knobbies and remarked that it turned in a lot quicker, like a motard.

Who would think you would ride from an area that has it's fair share of theft and have your bike stolen from a campground in a nice area like that?
