I truly won't know when I'm leaving until the week before, but it is looking more and more like it will be Wednesday.....
Either way, I'm sure we will have a blast up there.

I am tentatively going up the 6th (7th if things don't go well) from Wesley Chapel. I'll go up 75 to jasper, jump over to 129 / 441, and do the scenic route. I've done it a couple times, and that's how a motorcycle ride should be. Who knows, maybe I'll fall in with SteveJ, Snake and Reid if they'll have me.

Steve,
If you don't leave until the 7th, let me know. We may be able to meet up near I10 and I75.
My plans are similar to yours, but can't leave until the 7th... already over-allocated on vacation days - will need to see what I can work out  :??:

We leave pretty early but riding up with you would be a blast. Hess at Wildwood exit, 545am.

On TDY near Steamboat Springs. We blew off the eclipse, getting a bit crazy.

That is sounding pretty good to m as well. No need to figure out a route, just let the experts lead.....
Where exactly is the Wildwood exit?

Whichever way you get to Suches Rico, you won't be alone.  I hope you do make it.

Planning on leaving after work on Wed. the 6th (around 3:00) and riding part way up and getting a free motel with miles somewhere in South\Central Georgia and then getting in early on Thur.

Missed the last two will commitments & illness but making this one for sure.
Can't wait to camp in the mountains.

Thanks Roman! Try to stay off 75 as much as possible, but make it up there at a spirited pace. No use messing around in FL when the mountains await!
Speaking of spirited, my Louisianan performance award, going up to Cliff's, was reduced to improper parking, after I paid an additional $100. No points!

I'm also planning on heading out after work Wednesday. I'll leave Jupiter at 3 might stop home in Fellsmere then hit it. Patti will already have the cabin so as long as the weather doesn't get me like last time I'll get there sometime around 1-2 am.
