Gonna cage up with a buddy from Orlando area on Wednesday morning early to arrive before dark.  My buddy made me aware of the 80% chance for rain in Suches tomorrow night and 50% for Wednesday morning.  Thursday and on look good though.  Looking forward to some good riding before the impending doom on the return trip from Irma.

I'm getting really tempted to do the same. No one is been able to answer my question tho. If the hurricane is coming up through florida, will they close down the interstates to get back?

IF there is a general evacuation I would assume that I 75 would be all north bound. Depends on the track of Irma. You may be able to use back roads for south bound. It may be that everything is just shut down by Sunday. Or it may be that central FLA just gets a bit of a blow and a few inches of rain. It is not forecast to stall out so rain shouldn't be that bad.

I'm packing the bike tomorrow and will evaluate tomorrow evening.

Not sure Rico.  Been here damn near 40 years but never tried to come back after a hurricane.  Not even sure the office of emergency management would be able to say....doubt they would make 95 AND 75 one way only...never seen that.

:-X  I heard the Governor has called a STATE OF EMERGENCY in Florida. I thinks that means we should get ready.?   Gas lines will increase, water & batteries will be in demand, the stores will be packed.  Their sales will sore and can only hope it was all for nothing but some rain and wind.     I HOPE.  :??:     Alan in S. Well guys, officially out.
Please be careful if you are heading back right after, there will probably be lots of rain.
Have fun, enjoy, and I'll see you all next year.
