Lowering Link
« on: April 25, 2013, 09:44:48 pm »
I have a ZX shock and Pilot Gt's so even with a 34" inseam i was on tippy toes.  I was doing a 7th gear so decided to put in a lowering link, replace the hoses etc while everything is apart.  Finally got everything back together and brought it off the centerstand.  Yes  now my centerstand is up and wont clear the link to come back down.  What do I do?  Here is what I am thinking

Remove the left muffler
I have a 2 to floor jack thinking of bringing it up on that and I should be able to get the stand off to modify it.

Sound like it will work?

If you have any better ideas please throw it out and thanks in advance for your input folks!
Respectfully Yours!

Got a pic?

Can you put the sidestand down to take some of the weight to extend the rear suspension and then lower the centerstand. Trying to visualize, but I have one beer goggle on.   :beerchug:
