Yes, a couple of years ago, on the rear tire of my Wee-Strom, a Bridgestone Trail Wing, which was almost new, had about 400 miles on it when a screw went into it.   Had to take the wheel/tire to the local Zook shop, as car tire shops would not touch it, and the Zook shop would not do it without the wheel so they could inflate and pressure test it.  I think they charged about $20 or so to do it.  They used an internal plug/patch and vulcanized it in, and it held for about a thousand miles before I replaced the tire, which is longer than you are really supposed to run a patched tire.

Hi,
I just had two repaired truck tires.

The eternal plug patch is what they are doing now. :great:

I could not patch one tire as the hole was to close to the sidewall! :o

This matters with Radial Tires! :(

On the one they did fix, it is on my truck and will stay there till it is toast! :great:

Put a new Commander II tire on before trip to Johnson City.(2014)
Half way down picked up a nail and repaired with "gummy worm".
Ran tire for over 12000 miles before replacing, never a single issue.
