Has Anyone fabricated a preload adjuster for the front forks on early 1990 forks .is there one on the market That I can get...or will the later one fit on a post 1996.....

Don't know of any adjusters for 90, & if you want to run 94 & up tubes , you have to change the trees also (tube size bigger) + front wheel & brake calipers

You don’t have to change the trees...but, you will have to change the fork tubes (both are 41mm), calipers, wheel, and rotors...you can modify the early front fender...or, you can use a newer model...
