1980 BMW R-65 for sale***SOLD***

I hope you have more unused space in your garage than I do. That might go good in the living room window though 😁

Still have room in the shop. Have my wife’s car and three bikes in the garage and it’s pretty much stuffed.🤣

It was my brothers bike. I was lucky and had to do some finagling to get it and keep it in the family when he died in 2016. I cared for it until someone else in the family, hopefully his son, would take it off my hands and continue it's journey through time. Sadly, nobody wants it and I have no use for it and my garage is full.

It's German and sometimes a bit stubborn, imagine that? It starts and runs great but at about 47HP it is a slow ride compared to modern machines. It's a step back in time similar to riding my Triumph in that you are on history that can be traced back almost 100 years but with modern tires, electrics and updates. It's clunky and you need to be deliberate when shifting and riding. It will get you where you are going with German efficiency, just s bit slower. If you hum a few bars of the "Blue Danube" when tooling across the rolling farm lands of Ohio, all seems at peace. "The Ride Of The Valkyries" helps in twisties.:geek:
