If she were a car, I'd look at how all the seams come together and ride her, that'd probably tell you if it's worth looking any further, then while I had her away from the owner I'd take a good look. Even if the repairs are perfect (and I've never encountered any that were) Seems pricey considering the history. Pretty extensive rebuild, but the insurance company didn't total her, which means it was cheaper to fix her than pay book value.
Hi Fred; Dave and I saw that add a week or so ago. Looks reasonable, not a steal by any means. If you can drop them down on the price a bit its ok. Let me know if your real interested, I'll come take a look with you. forks, triple trees, bag mounts, center stand, etc and painted too! This is no minor crash, the frame may have been tweaked and straightened. I wouldn't touch this for anywhere near that price. Good luck.

It does indeed sound like it has fairing frame issues with the "small cracks and fitment" statement. I'd have to eyeball the bike before making any judgement, though. One neat thing: with that color, and wearing a two-tone black and white helmet, you could scare the piss out of moribund commuters camping in the car pool lane on I-405.
